Change the Stage While You Play
Level Editor: The Game is a puzzle platformer where you solve problems by editing the level itself. You guide a stickman toward the exit, but many stages contain missing platforms, dangerous traps, keys, and obstacles that make the normal path impossible.
Instead of accepting the level exactly as it appears, you receive building pieces that you can place where they help.
The game contains 40 main levels with challenges that become harder as you continue.
Build What the Stickman Needs
You can move with the W, A, S, and D keys or the arrow keys. The mouse handles the level-editing tools. Press R when you need to restart the stage.
The building pieces appear in the menu. You can choose the order in which you place the available blocks. This becomes useful when a stage needs several different objects.
For example, a missing path may need a normal platform. A high key may require something that works like an elevator. The important part is understanding what prevents the stickman from reaching the exit.
Use the Level Against Its Own Traps
Level Editor: The Game does more than give you simple blocks. Some obstacles can be handled by placing objects that change how the stage works.
Large spiked balls can create a serious problem. The game can give you tools that let you destroy or avoid them instead of simply trying to outrun them.
Keys also play a part in several puzzles. Reaching the key may require one arrangement, while reaching the final exit may need another.
Collect Coins and Find Better Solutions
Coins give you another reason to explore the full stage instead of running straight toward the door. The game rewards players who work out routes that collect them while still reaching the finish.
Level Editor: The Game combines building and platforming without making either part complicated. Look at the unfinished level, choose useful blocks, create a safe route, collect the available coins, avoid the traps, find any required keys, and help the stickman reach the door.
