Developers released version 0.5.0 of Friday Night Funkin’ on September twelfth. The update joined the ongoing Destination series and added fresh play options. Pico now joins the character list in Freeplay mode. Players choose him by tapping the Tab key on the menu screen.
Twelve new tracks hit the game. Creators crafted remixes highlighting Pico’s style in surprising ways. Players face shifting rhythms and tempo changes across this new library.
Animations received a makeover and stages look more alive. Characters move with added fluidity and scenes react to the beat. Sound designers tuned background effects to match the mood. Fans get a richer visual and audio ride compared to earlier builds.
