The Search for a Stolen Ice Cream
Brad Borne’s The Fancy Pants Adventure – World 2 follows Fancy Pants Man on a strange but funny mission. The adventure begins with a game of snail-shell golf. Fancy Pants Man completes the challenge and receives an ice cream cone from the mayor. An angry rabbit suddenly steals the ice cream and escapes through the golf hole. Fancy Pants Man follows the thief and begins a fast chase through six main levels.
The game uses a simple hand-drawn art style. Fancy Pants Man has spiky hair and bright triangular pants. His movements give the game most of its charm. He runs across curved paths, jumps over gaps, slides down hills, hangs from ledges, and jumps between walls.
The stages reward smooth movement. Running down a slope builds speed. That speed can carry Fancy Pants Man around loops or across wide spaces. Players still need to watch the path ahead. A jump made too early can send him into an obstacle.
Exploring Hidden Parts of Each Level
Brad Borne’s The Fancy Pants Adventure – World 2 offers more than a straight path to the exit. Players can search for trophies, bonus rooms, colorful squiggles, and hidden routes. Some rewards sit above the normal path. Others hide behind doors or inside small side areas.
Spiders and snails appear as enemies. Fancy Pants Man can defeat spiders by landing on them or sliding into them. Jumping on a snail makes it hide inside its shell. The loose shell can then roll across the ground.
Each main level also contains a snail-shell golf challenge. The player must guide the shell into a golf hole. Completing these challenges unlocks new pants colors.
Controls and Final Battle
Use the left and right arrow keys to run. Press S to jump. Press the down arrow while moving to slide or roll down a hill. Wall jumps help Fancy Pants Man climb narrow spaces and reach high platforms.
The final battle takes place against the angry rabbit. The rabbit drops spiders and a snail into the area. Fancy Pants Man must use the snail shell during the fight. Winning the battle allows him to recover his stolen ice cream.
