Play Checkers With a Special Big Shot Piece
Big Shot Checkers is a checkers game based on Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. You play with characters such as Mac and Bloo while following familiar checkers rules with one important addition called the Big Shot.
Your normal goal is to capture the opposing pieces or leave your opponent without any legal moves.
Move Pieces Diagonally
Regular pieces move forward across the colored squares. When an opponent’s piece sits beside yours with an empty square behind it, you can jump over that piece and capture it.
Capturing becomes important because removing all opposing pieces wins the match. You can also win by blocking the other side so completely that no move remains.
The game uses the mouse. Click a piece to see its available moves and then click the square where you want it to go.
Turn Regular Pieces Into Kings
Reaching the opposite end of the board turns a regular piece into a king. Kings can move forward and backward, which makes them more flexible than ordinary pieces.
Protecting a piece long enough to reach the king row can therefore give you a big advantage.
The Big Shot adds another twist. It has special movement rules and can become an important part of your strategy. One possible way to win is getting your Big Shot safely to the opposing king row.
Think Before Every Move
Big Shot Checkers rewards planning more than fast clicking. Moving one piece can open a path for your opponent to capture it on the next turn.
Sometimes giving up one piece can create a better position. Other times, keeping your Big Shot protected matters more than making an immediate capture.
The game keeps the familiar rules of checkers easy to recognize while adding its own special piece. Move carefully, capture enemy checkers, create kings, protect your important pieces, and look for a route that gives you one of the available ways to win.
