Defending the Base Through Eight Ages
Age of Defense is an action defense game where one warrior protects a base from waves of attackers. Enemies enter the battlefield and move toward the base. The player must defeat them before they reach it.
The campaign contains 40 levels spread across eight ages. It also includes 32 enemy characters, 37 weapons, different spells, special effects, and 34 achievements. New tools and threats appear as the player moves through the ages.
The warrior uses thrown objects, arrows, and guns. Each weapon type works in a different way. Thrown objects need power and timing. Arrows and guns allow faster attacks against approaching targets.
Using Weapons and Special Powers
The mouse handles aiming and attacking. Hold the mouse button to build throwing power. Release the button to throw the selected object. Click the mouse to fire arrows or guns. Guns reload after their ammunition runs out.
Press 1 to use the primary weapon. Press 2 to select the secondary weapon. The space bar activates a special weapon. Press P to pause the game.
A blue energy bar fills during battle. A full bar can add special effects to attacks. These effects include fire, poison, explosions, and light. Each age also provides its own spells.
Spells can help when several enemies appear at once. They can also stop a strong attacker that reaches the base. Players should avoid wasting powerful attacks on weak targets. A dangerous wave may arrive later.
Improving the Defense
Later levels bring tougher enemies and larger groups. The player needs stronger weapons and better timing to survive. Faster attacks can stop small enemies. Powerful weapons work better against stronger targets.
Age of Defense asks the player to watch the entire battlefield. Focusing on one enemy for too long can allow another attacker to move closer. The best target often changes from one moment to the next.
The changing ages add variety to the campaign. Simple thrown objects give way to bows, guns, spells, and stronger powers. The basic mission always stays clear. Protect the base and stop every attacker.
Age of Defense combines aiming with weapon choices and careful use of special attacks. Quick reactions help, but smart decisions become just as important during the harder levels.
